This summer 4-Hers including the Crooked Run 4-H club have been painting quilt squares for area barns.

The 4-Hers first mark off the pattern with paint tape. Next, the members paint each area and then wait for that area to dry. A second coat of paint is then applied.

The next time you drive down the road and see one of these quilt blocks in Tuscarawas County, remember they are painted by local 4-H members.

The members of the Crooked Run 4-H club met on Monday, June 3. President Spencer Miday called the meeting to order. Club T-shirts were distributed to members. Ava Starner gave a demonstration on how to properly use a sewing pattern.
