Nashville Jolly Farmers 4-H Club to meet April 15
                        

The Nashville Jolly Farmers 4-H club held its first business meeting on Monday, March 11. Officer elections were held, and results are as follows: President Gracie Manges, Vice President Garrett Houin, secretary Aubree Houin, treasurer Kailyn Snyder, news reporter Anna Irwin, health leader Garrett Fowler, safety leader Sarah Irwin, and recreation leaders Laura Irwin, Sarah Rose Farquhar and Malia Lennington.

The Nashville Jolly Farmers met on Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m. at the Nashville United Methodist Church. There were 31 members and 16 guests present. Brant Burgett led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Anna Irwin led the 4-H pledge. Bree Houin gave the secretary’s report, and Kailyn Snyder gave the treasurer’s report.

Bree Houin gave a demonstration on how to create a character profile, Garrett Houin gave a demonstration on karate and Tristan Houin gave a demonstration on barrel racing and pole bending. Garrett Fowler, club health leader, gave a demonstration on the benefits of staying active, and Gabby Fowler ended the night with her demonstration on how to fast-pitch a softball. Refreshments were provided by the Houin and Fowler families.

The next meeting of the Nashville Jolly Farmers will be held on April 15 at 7 p.m. at the Nashville United Methodist Church, 304 W. Millersburg St., Nashville.
