Joan Quinn’s piece is a part of the Southeast Ohio Watermedia Society show, which exists to further the public interest in water-based artistic media, which include works done in watercolor, acrylic, ink, tempera and collage.

                        

The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts will host a juried exhibition of artworks created with all types of water media from Sept. 7 to Jan. 4.

A public reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Pianist Christine Rober will perform, and refreshments will be served. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

The arts center is located at 461 Robinson Drive SE in New Philadelphia, and gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The show is sponsored in part by The Ohio Arts Council, Lauren International, The Tuscarawas County Community Foundation and Doris Kimble.
