Art Guild show to be held at arts center

The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts will host a free public reception on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 6-8 p.m. The opening reception will feature accepted artworks from the seventh annual Tuscarawas County Art Guild Juried Exhibition in the Foland Gallery.

A memorial retrospective exhibition of work by Ann K. Marsh will be in the upper Members Gallery. Marsh was an artist and life-long advocate for the arts in Tuscarawas County.

The exhibitions include artworks created in a variety of media and styles such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography, drawing, fiber, glass, sculpture and mixed media.

Awards for winning artworks selected by juror Skip Limbach will be presented, refreshments will be served, and jazz musicians Bob Ventre and Bruce Wallace will perform.

The show is funded in part by Lauren International, The Kimble Foundation, The Pietro-Martinelli Charitable Fund and the Ohio Arts Council. Information about the arts center may be obtained by visiting or calling 330-339-2787.
