Arts center’s Mid Summer’s Night Art Affair in its 19th year

A gallery reception for the 19th annual Mid Summer’s Night Art Affair will be held Saturday, July 17 from 7-9 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts. The show will highlight recent works in a variety of media and styles created by invited artists with a Tuscarawas County connection. Bob Ventre, Jack Seward and Clint Alguire will provide jazz music for the evening, and refreshments will be served.

In addition to the exhibition in the main Foland Gallery, the public will be invited to view additional works by Steve Muhs in the Members Gallery and artworks from the permanent collection throughout the upper galleries.

Francesca Alguire, Terry Barnhill, Jeff Beitzel, Juli Boman, Samantha Boman, Patrick Conidi, Anthony Contini, Sherry Crilow, Sarah Dugger, Debbie Ellwood, Aubrey Gealsha, Charles Graham, Dee Grossman, Jackie Holan, Kiyoe Howald, James Oliver Huff, Gina Judy, Chris Kalouche, Bill Koch, Douglas Laubacher, Skip Limbach, Jasmine Mills, Philista Mills, Deb Morrison, Scott Morrison, Vivian Mosley, Barbara Palmer, James Peters, Tom Radca, Levi Rader, Bill Schultz, Peggy Sibila, David Sickinger, Tim Sidel, Paula Siebieda, Stephanie Space, Ed Steffek, Joyce Stahl, Ginny Stocker, Jon Stucky, Yan Sun, Kyle Valentini and Hung Yin.

The show will run through Sept. 4. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. Admission to the reception and show are free, but donations are appreciated.

The exhibition is funded in part by Lauren International, the Ohio Arts Council, the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation, The Pietro – Martinelli Charitable Trust, Appalachian Community Fund and Doris Kimble.

The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts is located at 461 Robinson Drive SE in New Philadelphia.
