The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas has two upcoming shows to get the whole family into the holiday spirit.

Christmas in the Air is a holiday song and dance variety show coming Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m., and Luminare Christmas will bring a blend of rock and cheer on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Christmas in the Air is a family experience featuring a cast of synchronized, high-kicking dancers along with singers and actors. With special appearances by Santa and several of his holiday pals, Christmas in the Air is a holiday production with a mix of classic melodies and modern-day favorites.

Luminare Christmas, led by John Blasucci, former Mannheim Steamroller keyboardist and longtime musical director for Dennis DeYoung of Styx, brings a fusion of reimagined holiday classics, symphonic rock, and a lighting show and story woven throughout the performance.

Tickets for both Christmas in the Air and Luminare Christmas start at $39 and are on sale at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or by visiting www.kent.edu/tuscpac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free parking is available for all shows. The Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Kent State Tuscarawas at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.

The Performing Arts Center’s 2024-25 season is sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation.
