Harris to perform at Wooster on Oct. 26
Reggie Harris, a singer, storyteller and expert on freedom songs, will perform Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Gault Recital Center inside Scheide Hall on the campus of The College of Wooster.
Harris will present “Standing in Freedom’s Name: An Evening of Song & Story” at 7 p.m. The show is free and open to the public. Harris promotes racial justice with lessons from the Civil Rights Movement through performance.
The show is sponsored by Wooster’s departments of communication studies, Africana studies, English, history, political science, religious studies, sociology and anthropology, and theater and dance and the college’s cultural events committee.
