Honeytown, a four-piece group of musicians based in Kidron, will hold a concert in the historic Sonnenberg Village church near Kidron on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m.

Featuring Tim Shue, Nate Gundy, Kevin Himes and Toby Hazlett, Honeytown has a musical mix of original compositions and unexpected arrangements. Their varied instrumentation ranges from fiddle to banjo, washboard to bass ukulele, and accordion to percussive trash cans.

Honeytown has performed its blend of unpredictable folk Americana, rock 'n' roll, and progressive bluegrass for conventions, conferences, art shows, churches, weddings, benefits, barbecues, house concerts, coffee houses and as the showcased musical guests for several performances of Carol Barnett’s “The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass.” They play regularly at Lehman's in Kidron and have been the house band for the biannual “Frohliche Dorf Show,” also in Kidron.

Tickets for the concert are $10 and can be obtained at Raber's Eye Care in Kidron.
