The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas is introducing a new PACK the PAC initiative, where every ticket to select shows is $15.

“Each year our educational programs give local students the opportunity to perform side by side with internationally recognized musicians. We’d love nothing more than to enhance that experience and PACK the PAC with over 1,000 audience members, adding energy and excitement to their performance,” said David Mitchell, general manager of the Performing Arts Center. “We’ve created the PACK the PAC initiative, where every ticket has been drastically discounted to only $15. We want the community to enjoy a fantastic show with world-class artists while also supporting local students.”

PACK the PAC shows include the following:

—Jonathan Scales Fourchestra on Jan. 30, a steel drum performance.

—Christie Lené on Feb. 10, an international fingerstyle guitar champion.

—Good Shot Judy on Feb. 29, a swing band performance.

“Experience three extraordinary nights of high-quality entertainment with some of the finest musicians in the world,” Mitchell said. “Each show is unique and will prove to be a magical night at the PAC.”

Tickets for all three shows are on sale at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or by visiting www.kent.edu/tuscpac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Performing Arts Center’s 2023-24 season is sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation.

Free parking is available for all shows. The Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Kent State Tuscarawas at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.
