Local student attends Muskingum music camp

Music Theatre CAMP has been recognized and supported in part by the Ohio Arts Council, which helped fund the program to encourage educational excellence, cultural enrichment and economic growth.

                        

Carolyn Rohr of West Holmes High School attended Muskingum University’s Summer High School Music Theatre CAMP, held June 18-24. Nearly 40 students grade 9-12 from 15 different schools attended this year’s Music Theatre CAMP, which culminated in a musical theater performance in the university’s Philip and Betsey Caldwell Hall.

The camp staff is led by CAMP director Carol Wilcox Jones, Muskingum University artist-in-residence, and co-directors Todd Schreiber of Whiteford Schools in Michigan, Amy Leacock of Upper Arlington Schools in Ohio, Belinda Andrews-Smith of Denison University and Robert O. Jones, Muskingum University emeritus music professor.
