The concert will feature performers from area communities, playing a variety of folk, patriotic and popular selections in duets, duos and trios including pieces by the late composer Robert Vandall.

                        

A free program of musical entertainment will be performed by piano and string ensembles when members of the Tuscarawas/Holmes Music Teachers Association and their students present their annual Ensemble Concert on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Dover Alliance Church.

The concert will feature performers from area communities, playing a variety of folk, patriotic and popular selections in duets, duos and trios including pieces by the late, internationally acclaimed New Philadelphia composer Robert Vandall.

The final group of selections will be played by teachers and will feature several upbeat selections.

THMTA member teachers are Mary Cooper, Phyllis Ronald, Judith Schenker, Luci Shank, Julie Beachy, Karen Vandall, Susan Weaver and Melanie Winn.

The program is open to the public and will last approximately one hour, but there will be freewill offering plates at the back of the church, which is located at 228 E. Third St. in Dover.
