Amateur photographers are being sought to participate in a photo contest sponsored by
the Dennison Rotary Club in conjunction with the Dennison Railroad Days Festival.

                        

Amateur photographers are being sought to participate in a photo contest sponsored by
the Dennison Rotary Club in conjunction with the Dennison Railroad Days Festival May
31 through June 3.

The contest is open to the public for amateur photographers and divided into two divisions: adult and youth. The adult division is open to amateur photographers age 18 and older. The youth division is open to youths up to the age of 18.

The entry fee is $5 per photo for adult entries and $3 per photo for youth entries. There is no limit on the number of photos each photographer may enter.

The photo categories are Animals, Flowers, People, Scenery and Open (any subject). Entries will be accepted Saturday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dennison Public Library, 15 N. Fourth St.

The photos will be exhibited at the Dennison Library during the Railroad Days Festival from Tuesday, May 30 through Monday, June 5 during regular business hours. Prizes will be ribbons, cash awards and merchandise for each category. Proceeds from the contest will be used for community projects in the Dennison/Uhrichsville area.
