TAP celebrates their 10th anniversary in the community
The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership announced the celebration of its 10th anniversary in 2025. To kick off this milestone, TAP invites its partners, supporters and all art enthusiasts to join the organization for its 10th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Daily Grind Cafe in downtown New Philadelphia.
The Daily Grind Cafe holds significance for TAP as the birthplace of the organization. It was there, over a decade ago, the initial conversations that led to the formation of TAP took place.
In celebration of this connection, the kickoff event will bring together community members and partners to reflect on the growth and success of TAP over the last 10 years and look ahead to the artistic opportunities the future holds.
“I’ve been with TAP for nearly 6 1/2 years, and it’s amazing to see the growth the organization has gone through,” said Wilma K. Mullet, executive director of TAP. “There have been many people involved with TAP since its early days — board members, community partners, artists, organizations, staff. Many hands and creative talents were involved in the formation of TAP and continue to shape it today. We are inspired by our creative community and grateful for the support of our community as it reaches this great milestone.”
The celebration will feature light refreshments and an opportunity to connect with other arts advocates and creatives in the region.
Throughout 2025, TAP will present a series of events aimed at inspiring and engaging individuals of all ages and backgrounds to participate in and appreciate the arts in Tuscarawas County.
