Terry Barnhill, a professional photographer with more than 40 years of experience, will facilitate three Saturday morning workshops at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts in New Philadelphia.

The workshops will focus on key concepts that will improve participant’s photography skills. “There is nothing more frustrating than having a good camera and good lens and not being able to get the picture that you want,” Barnhill said.

Barnhill intends to cover exposure, depth of field, composition, lighting and the technical aspects of photography.

Photography 101: Getting Started is scheduled for Jan. 22, Photography 102: Taking Control for Jan. 29 and Photography 103: Advanced Camera for Feb. 5. All three sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and the cost of each session is $20.

Registration may be made by calling 330-339-2787, and full course descriptions may be obtained by visiting www.tuscartcenter.org.

The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts is located at 461 Robinson Drive SE.
