TCCA’s 18th annual summer show features local artists

“Rock Garden” by Stephanie Space is a mixed-media piece that will be featured in the 18th annual Mid Summer’s Night Art Affair.

                        

A closing reception for the 18th annual Mid Summer’s Night Art Affair will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts, 461 Robinson Drive, SE.

The exhibition, which is now open for viewing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, highlights recent work in a variety of media and styles created by invited artists with a Tuscarawas County connection.

In addition to the exhibition in the main Foland Gallery, the public will be invited to view pastel paintings by Ginny Stocker in the Members Gallery located on the upper level.

Artists participating in this year’s event are Terry Barnhill, Jeff Beitzel, Juli Boman, Jane Brown, Susan Cramer Stein, Anthony Contini, Jennifer Contini Cunningham, Sarah Dugger, Deborah Elwood, Aubrey Gealsha, Charles Graham, Dee Grossman, Jackie Holan, Kiyoe Howald, Wes Jones, Bill Koch, Douglas Laubacher, Skip Limbach, Scott McDonald, Jasmine Mills, Deb Morrison, Scott Morrison, Vivian Mosley, Barbara Palmer, Kathleen Riley, Bill Schultz, Peggy Sibila, Stephanie Space, Ed Steffek, Ginny Stocker, Jon Stucky, Yan Sun, Kyle Valentini and Hong Yin.

Admission to the reception and show are free, but donations are appreciated.

The exhibition is funded in part by Lauren International, The Ohio Arts Council, the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation, The Pietro — Martinelli Charitable Trust, Troyer and Associates, and Doris Kimble.
