Falcon Playhouse will present its fall play, "The Worst High School Play in the World," written by William Gleason and directed by Tracy Lemus Santos, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Fairless High School auditorium.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased up to one week prior to the performance by calling the high school office at 330-767-3444 or at the door.

Dramatic Publishing describes this play as being a full-length comedy farce set in the year 1243 A.D.

All is not well in the land of Saxonia. Darkness and discontent hang thick in the air. The reasonably handsome King Isadore is off to the Crusades to smite heathens and purchase porcelain. In his place his creep brother Prince Viscera brings sorrow and fear to every hearth.

There also is joy in Saxonia, for Isadore has not only left town, but also left a son. The boy's name is Ivanha, and this is his story. It is a story of love and revenge. More than that, it is the worst plot you've ever seen on a stage.

This is Lemus Santos’ 20th production directing the Falcon Playhouse. The play’s cast includes 12 high school students:

Logan Hysong as Ivanha; Zack Kammer as Rico; Winnie Lemus Santos as Belinda and Felippe; Lindsey Kennedy as Nina and Shecky; Bethany Speicher as Corsicana; Chris Engel as Viscera; Miah Harris as Medulla; Caleb Daniels as Friar Fred; Jeneva Manon as Lady Lenore; TJ Luxenburg as Attendant, Mama, Chester, Monk and Trudy; Victoria Sanders as Director, Astrid, Gwen and Rashad; and Madison Piercy as Stagehand.
