After countless years and just the right underground conditions to help them along, diamonds not only last forever, but also take forever to create.

And while her 28 years in the jewelry business might seem an insignificant amount of time compared to creation of the stones she sells, Heather Kobilarcsik, owner of White Jewelers, is an expert at helping people choose just the right diamonds for the people they love.

“More people give diamonds in December than during any other month,” Kobilarcsik said, referencing the engagement month of choice. “Diamonds are a symbol of love, and they typically appreciate over time. They are revered by people across the globe, they are never out of fashion and they help to create lasting memories. Everyone remembers the first diamond they got.”

This year White Jewelers is celebrating its 90th year of helping people to choose just the right diamond for the occasion. “We carry several different levels of quality in various price ranges. Then we help people stick to the budget they have in mind when it comes to selection,” Kobilarcsik said.

Kobilarcsik said natural diamonds continue to be on trend for the season with pink, yellow, red and blue offering out-of-the-box color options. But nowadays, diamonds can be irradiated so they take on a hue like brown, for example. Halos of smaller diamonds are still the “it” look, and rose gold settings continue to dominate.

Because White Jewelers stays up to date on all the trends, you’ll find the hottest looks of the season along with interesting and one-of-a-kind settings courtesy of Heather’s husband, Andy Kobilarcsik. “Andy can custom create a ring for you,” Kobilarcsik said. “That way your special someone will be the only one wearing the design. Nothing we have is cookie cutter.”

Heather and Andy Kobilarcsik place an emphasis on quality stones and spends a lot of time educating her customers on exactly what they’re buying. “People have trusted the White name for nearly a century, and I’m proud to continue our tradition of offering people the best jewelry money can buy in a variety of price ranges,” she said.
