Dover First Christian Church, 3029 N. Wooster Ave., will celebrate its 100th anniversary July 12-13. The church was founded July 12, 1925, at a meeting at the former Independent Order of Odd Fellows Hall on North Tuscarawas Avenue in Dover.

For many years the congregation worshipped at a church at 318 E. Fourth St., Dover, before moving to its current location in 1990.

A catered dinner is planned July 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the church, followed by a time of worship. The cost is $5 for the dinner. Reservations can be made at www.doverfcc.com/100years.

A worship service will be held July 13 at 10:45 a.m. with Ken Parrott, who served as pastor from 1966-2000. Call 330-364-3520 or email doverfcc100@gmail.com.
