A pork and sauerkraut fundraiser will again be held Election Day, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until sold out at Sugarcreek First UCC, 526 W. Main St.

The proceeds will go to a number of area missions: Garaway Release Time Education, YoungLife, Harbor of Hope Food Pantry and Baltic Community Needs program.

The menu includes pork, sauerkraut, hot dogs, real mashed potatoes, applesauce, Amish homemade bread, and assorted pies and cake for dessert.

Nine area churches from Baltic, Sugarcreek and outlaying areas are joining together to put this fundraiser together. The churches include Salem Lutheran Church, Shanesville Lutheran Church, Sugarcreek First Mennonite Church, Union Hill Methodist Church, New Bedford UCC, Baltic Zion UCC, Fiat St. Peter’s UCC, Ragersville Zion UCC and Sugarcreek First UCC.

The churches are donating all the food, so all proceeds will be divided between the above-mentioned missions. The meal is by donation.
