Jeremy Scherf, service forester of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, is active in the East Central Ohio Forestry Association, a regional woodland owner interest group.

                        

The East Central Ohio Forestry Association will meet Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. in Dover.

Jeremy Scherf, service forester of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will deliver a program titled “Money Does Grow on Trees.” Come find out what your timber is worth.

This meeting is not the usual first Wednesday of the month so as not to interfere with New Year’s Day.

ECOFA is an organization of persons interested in improving their woodlands and in forestry-related topics. The public is invited to attend the free meetings that are held monthly at the Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover.
