Exchange Club of Orrville gets new bingo equipment

The Exchange Club of Orrville members met Aug. 1 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3446, 430 W. Market St., Orrville, for a catered lunch.
Members were invited to see the VFW’s new bingo equipment, which will be used on upcoming bingo nights every Wednesday at the VFW. The first bingo will be soon, with a date to be announced soon.
Tom Gochnauer, canteen manager, and David Zook, assistant canteen manager, said they also will have food available for sale at bingo.
The Exchange Club holds an annual bingo fundraiser at the VFW each year and possibly will provide a working crew one Wednesday a month to assist with bingo night.
In business Lisa Reusser encouraged members to continue to sell their Pick 3 tickets for the September lottery. This is one of the fundraisers Exchange Club does each year, with proceeds going toward scholarships and community events.
