Forestry Association to host petroleum engineer

                        

The East Central Ohio Forestry Association will welcome Barry Brown, petroleum engineer, who will discuss recent oil and gas litigation and legislation at the Feb. 7 meeting at 7 p.m.

Brown is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a BSME degree and has worked in the upstream oil and gas industry most of his career.  

After earning an MS from Montana Tech, he taught school and worked for Hess Corporation in Belmont, Guernsey, Harrison and Jefferson counties. His experience as a drilling foreman, tree farm owner and consultant for the North American Royalty Owners will make this of interest to anyone who has to deal with oil and gas issues.

ECOFA is an organization of persons interested in improving their woodlands and in forestry-related topics. The public in invited to attend the free meetings, which are held monthly at the Dover Public Library at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover.
