The Holmes County Historical Society has a few seats left for its holiday bus tour to Columbus on Dec. 14.

The outing will begin with a tour of the new Veterans Memorial Museum, followed by lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse. Then it will shop at the nation’s largest privately owned bookstore with over 32 rooms of books located in the German Village area.

Later the group will tour Franklin Conservatory, which will be all decked out for the holidays with a light display, along with greenhouse tours. Following dinner, for which group members are on their own and can eat at the café or the many food trucks on the property, the day will end with a walk-thru nativity scene.

The cost is $115 per person and $100 for veterans with a valid military ID.
