The Kiwanis Club of Dover-New Philadelphia will host its annual Pancake Day on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Philadelphia Tuscora Park Pavilion.

The breakfast will help raise money for community-service projects and youth scholarships.  Ticket prices are $5 and can be purchased in advance from any Kiwanis Club member and at the door on Nov. 3.

A silent auction also will be held to help fund the many community projects the Kiwanis Club supports. In addition choirs from both Dover High School and New Philadelphia High School will perform during the event.

The Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club, which has been providing community service for 95 years, is part of Kiwanis International. It has a goal of improving local communities through volunteer service.

Specifically Kiwanis has a priority of supporting young children and conducting projects addressing the needs of area youth. The club is always looking for members and meets at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center each Tuesday at noon.
