The 48th annual Northwestern Ruritan Pancake and Sausage Day and Northwestern Community Spring Homecoming will be Saturday, March 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All-you-can-eat pancakes, pure maple syrup, whole hog sausage, applesauce, milk and coffee will be served at Northwestern High School, 7473 Elyria Road in West Salem on state Route 301, 1 mile north of Lattasburg and 6 miles south of West Salem.

Adults are $7, students and senior citizens 65 and over are $6, and children 6-10 are $4. Pure maple syrup and whole hog sausage, frozen and fresh, will be for sale. All proceeds will go toward Northwestern community projects.

High school woodworking projects will be on display in the commons area. High school science and engineering projects will be on display in the high school library.

Northwestern sixth-graders will hold their annual auction next door in the middle school. They are raising funds for their trip to Washington, D.C. this spring.
