TOPS club meets at Nashville UMC
                        

On March 16, TOPS OH1573 opened with pledges. Janice Tope was best rededicated loser. She said no ice cream next week. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS, and the club’s Rainbow of Super Foods contest continued.

Bonnie Porter gave a program from healthyeating.webbond.com on portion control. She passed out a visual, showing how to portion food groups on a plate, what constitutes a serving, 1 cup, 1 ounce and such.

On March 23, TOPS OH1573 opened with pledges. Fran Kopack was best weekly loser. She said no desserts this week. Janice Tope was best rededicated loser. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS.

For the program Janice Tope handed out two items. One was a list of foods containing vitamin C with recipes using some of those food. The other was a list called ”Tips to Change Behavior.” She also read “8 Benefits of Walking from the Arthritis Foundation,” and a discussion followed.

The club meets each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. with weigh-in at 5 p.m. at the Nashville United Methodist Church. For more information call 330-231-1382 or 330-600-2649.
