TOPS learns about how to handle failures
On Jan. 8, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Janice Tope was best weekly loser. She said not to eat cookies and to keep a food journal. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS.
Tope gave a program from the latest TOPS News using an article titled “Moving Toward Success, the Only Failure is Quitting.” With a failure, reflect by identifying your goal and actions and where specifically you failed. Adjust the actions to make progress toward your goal. Grow by changing the way you look at challenges.
The club then took a quiz called Successful Failures by matching extremely successful people with their past failures.
TOPS meets at the Nashville Global Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
