TOPS members learn of celery’s benefits
On Dec. 4, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Donna Goodwill was best weekly loser, and she said to limit carbohydrates. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS.
Bonny Porter gave the program taken from the TOPS website, titled Health Benefits of Celery. Celery is high in fiber, low in calories, full of antioxidants, helps blood flow, improves learning, is an anti-inflammatory, and has vitamins A, B, K, potassium and calcium.
TOPS meets Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
