On May 15, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Donna Goodwill was best weekly loser. She said to eat four servings of vegetables or fruit each day. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS. The new contest TOPS to the Rescue began.

Rush gave a program taken from the Health and Nutrition News Letter. It gave 19 secrets to a longer life. A few areexercise and a correct diet will slow advancement of Alzheimer’s disease, coconut may have too much saturated fat, eggs keep up to four weeks, limit red meat as your source of protein, and too much potassium can cause an irregular heartbeat.

TOPS Club meets each Wednesday at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
