WHS Drama Club hosting Brightman
                        

The Wooster High School Drama Club will host Broadway actor and Tony nominee Alex Brightman on Wednesday, April 16 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center. The free event, An Evening with Alex Brightman,will be moderated by WHS Drama Club adviser Brett Hiner.

Brightman is best known for originating the lead roles of Dewey Finn in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “School of Rock” and the title character in “Beetlejuice” by Eddie Perfect. His performances earned him Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.

The event celebrates 100 years of the WHS Drama Club and offers students and the community a chance to hear directly from one of Broadway’s performers. Brightman will discuss his career, offer insight into the world of professional theater and answer audience questions.
