College students who have met high academic standards, including several from the area, have been named to the dean’s list for fall, 2019.

                        

Goshen College recently recognized 188 undergraduate students for excellence in academics on the fall 2019 dean’s list including several from the area.

Apple Creek

—Emma Zuercher, first year, sign-language interpreting, graduate of Waynedale High School.

Dalton

—Benjamin Troyer, sophomore, biology and psychology, graduate of Central Christian High School.

Kidron

—Elizabeth Breckbill, junior, environmental and marine science, graduate of Central Christian High School.

Millersburg

—Talia Miller, junior, social work, graduate of Central Christian High School.

Orrville

—Leah Otto, sophomore, environmental and marine science, graduate of Central Christian High School.

—Alexander Seymour, junior, music and secondary education, graduate of Central Christian High School.

The dean’s list includes students earning at least a 3.75 GPA while completing at least 12 hours of coursework for a letter grade. Only grades from the designated semester are included in the selection process.

Initiated fall 1999, the dean’s list celebrates the achievement of Goshen College students who have met high academic standards and can motivate students preparing for graduate studies.

Goshen College is a private liberal arts college in Goshen, Indiana. The institution was founded in 1894 as the Elkhart Institute of Science, Industry and the Arts and is affiliated with Mennonite Church USA.
