The Ohio Family, Career and Community Leaders of America State Leadership Conference will be held virtually in April.

                        

Seven Buckeye Career Center students have qualified for the Ohio Family, Career and Community Leaders of America State Leadership Conference. The students filmed their presentations and were judged virtually in recent weeks for the regional competition.

The lone gold winner was Julia Weaver (Dover), a teaching professions junior who competed in interpersonal communication.

Silver winners were early childhood education juniors Ashton Doak (Indian Valley), Camille Snow (Hiland) and Danielle Wright (Strasburg), who competed as a team in nutrition and wellness; teaching professions seniors Mackenzie Guy (Claymont) and Reighly Newbold (Carrollton) in interpersonal communication; and teaching professions junior Brook Polka (New Philadelphia) for professional presentation.

The state conference will be held virtually in April.
