The Buckeye Career Center's auction includes a Miller Dynasty welder, bulletin boards, cabinets, cosmetology hair dryer/chair, desktop computers, metal desks, metal stools, computer items, offset printing press, routers and assorted chairs.

                        

Buckeye Career Center will host a public auction on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia. The auction will be conducted by Don R. Wallick Auctions Inc. Items up for bid include classroom furniture and tools no longer used by BCC students or staff.

“The auction items are obsolete, and many of them have been replaced over the years,” Buckeye Career Center Superintendent Bob Alsept said.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the BCC general operating fund.

Auction items include but are not limited to a Miller Dynasty welder, bulletin boards, wooden cabinets, cosmetology hair dryer/chairs, desktop computers, metal desks, metal stools, miscellaneous computer items, offset printing press, routers, assorted chairs, two large televisions, filing cabinets and more.

Accepted forms of payment include cash, check or credit card with proper ID on auction day. There will be a 4-percent buyer's premium on all sales and 4 percent waived for cash or check. Under the authority of R.C. 3313.41, all items will be sold as is, where is. Once items leave the premises, there will be no returns or refunds.

The Buckeye Joint Vocational Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids, and to accept any bid which it deems favorable.
