In response to the COVID-19 health pandemic, Buckeye Career Center announced the school will remain in a blended learning model through Nov. 6. School began in August in the current blended learning model as well.

The blended learning model features instruction through in-person and remote learning each week. The schedule remains the same with seniors attending in-person Nov. 2 and 3. Juniors will attend in-person Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 4, 5 and 6.

Students are expected to participate in remote academic learning on the days they are not in- person at school.

“We feel this is the best model as we strive to maintain our social distance and provide a safe environment for our students and staff,” BCC superintendent Bob Alsept said. “We continue to monitor the health of our students and staff, as well as the health of our partner schools.”

Full-time adult education, EMS/fire and apprenticeships will remain as scheduled. At this time customer-service operations are still closed to the public. Anyone with questions should call Buckeye Career Center at 330-339-2288 or visit www.BuckeyeCareerCenter.org.
