As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Holmes County Education Foundation has extended the deadlines for both renewal and new scholarship applications to allow students more time to obtain required documentation and perform community service.

Renewal scholarship applications are now due April 3 at midnight eastern standard time.

College students currently receiving HCEF renewable scholarships were emailed a renewal scholarship application link in December. Those students should only apply via the email link and not apply as a new student.

Students looking for community service opportunities should visit: https://hcef.net/community-service-aspects. New scholarship applications are now due April 10 at 5 p.m. EST.

As a reminder, the online scholarship application for new students can only be found and completed online via the HCEF website at www.hcef.net. Graduating high school seniors, adult students currently or previously enrolled in college, graduate school students, home-schooled students, or other individuals pursuing further education who either reside in Holmes County, and/or have graduated from a Holmes County high school are eligible to apply.

In an effort to keep staff healthy, the Foundation is not accepting visitors at this time. Therefore, those with questions are asked to please call or email with any questions you may have at (330) 674-7303 or info@hcef.net.

Please watch the Foundation’s website at www.hcef.net and visit the HCEF Facebook page for further updates.
