During the previous academic year, the Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club provided 19 scholarships in the total amount of $9,500.

                        

The Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club is offering scholarships of $500 each to qualified students living within the New Philadelphia or Dover school districts. The scholarships are available for those entering their freshman through senior year of college in 2019-20.

The application deadline is March 15. Application materials are available at Buckeye Career Center, Dover High School, New Philadelphia High School, QDA, the Tuscarawas campus of Kent State University and Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School.

Applicants will be evaluated by the scholarship committee on the basis of academic achievement, school activities, community service and financial need.

Additional consideration will be given to students who participate in Kiwanis Circle K or Key Clubs and to those students attending the Tuscarawas campus of Kent State University.
