Kent State University at Tuscarawas will hold a Nursing Career Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from noon to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center. Over 150 nursing students including incoming students and those who will graduate May 2020 will attend the event. In addition to students, the fair is open to anyone in the community who is interested in a health-care career.

“We are proud of the quality students that graduate from the program each year,” said Donna Morgan, Kent State Tuscarawas nursing skills lab coordinator. “We thought this would be a great way to get them connected with the wonderful facilities we have in our local area. This will be an opportune time to have one-on-one time with new students looking for health-care experience and to connect with those who will be graduating, seeking that first nursing job.”

The following health-care agencies are scheduled to attend: Inn at Northwood Village, Coshocton Regional Medical Center, Park Village Health Care Center, Pomerene Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, New Dawn Retirement Community, Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Hennis Care Centre of Bolivar, Interim HealthCare of New Philadelphia, Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Laurels of Massillon and Trinity Hospital Twin City.
