The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County will award multiple scholarships to high school seniors in Tuscarawas County who will attend the Ohio State University autumn semester 2021 (including regional campuses and Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster).

This scholarship program is intended to provide recognition and financial assistance to incoming freshmen who have demonstrated academic merit and have a record of performance in activities both in school and in the community.

To be considered for a scholarship, the student must complete and submit the online application by Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m. The application can be found at www.osu.edu/alumni/pay-forward/alumni-scholars-program/.

If a student is going to be an Ohio State varsity student-athlete (even walk-on status), the student may be eligible for the club scholarship award, but Ohio State Compliance must approve an award on a case-by-case basis.

The Alumni Association also suggested the students complete the FAFSA in order to be eligible for any financial need-based scholarships and grants.

Questions may be emailed to Carol Huprich, scholarship leader, at Huprich.17@osu.edu.
