Many Buckeye Career Center students are advancing to state career and technical student organization competitions.

                        

Numerous Buckeye Career Center students are advancing to state career and technical student organization competitions.

The following students competed at the HOSA Future Health Professionals regional competition recently at Canton South High School and are moving on to the HOSA Ohio State Leadership Conference April 9-10 in Columbus:

Jeffrey Reed, pharmacy tech/New Philadelphia, medical spelling, first place; Hayleigh Scheufler, intro to nursing/Hiland, medical terminology, third place; Katelyn Slone, exercise science/Strasburg, nutrition, first place; Jeremiah Roach, exercise science/Conotton Valley, nutrition, third place; Haleigh Pompey, intro to nursing/New Philadelphia, human growth and development knowledge test, third place; Katelyn Maurer, intro to nursing/Garaway, nursing assisting, second place; Michaela Dumont, exercise science/Claymont, physical therapy, third place; Kim Halsey, exercise science/Newcomerstown, CPR/first aid, second place; Jakob Rosenbohm, exercise science/Conotton Valley, CPR/first aid, second place; Amber Jones, exercise science/Strasburg, epidemiology, first place; Alex Williams, exercise science/Tuscarawas Valley, epidemiology, second place;
