The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County recently awarded scholarships to 24 local students.

                        

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to 20 high school seniors and four current OSU students, and $24,000 is a new record for the club.

The Molly B. Demuth Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Blade Mitchell, Newcomerstown; Jaden Riker and Kari Yanders, New Philadelphia; Luke Whitman, Claymont; and Nathan Wilson, Dover.

The Hanhart Agency Inc. Scholarships were awarded to Harmony Rose, Indian Valley, and Benjamin Lowe, current OSU student.

The Terry and Virginia Hiller Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Mary Foster and Grace Smith, Indian Valley, and Connor Everhart, New Philadelphia.

The Robert and Becky Horn Family Scholarships were awarded to Dover students: Nolan Little, Tyler Sweitzer and Lauren Yoder.

The Jose R Samson, M.D. Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Grace Wallace, Dover, and Baillie Donley, current OSU student.

The Timothy and Karen Stokey Family Scholarships were awarded to Mason Bell, Dover, and current OSU students, Samantha Wallick and Abigail Warther.

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County Endowed Scholarships were awarded to Kyler Cox, Claymont; Nicholas Newland, Dover; Elijah Beachy and Colson Starner, Garaway; and Adam Exley and Alexis Schupbach, New Philadelphia.
