As a part of The Big Read, the Massillon Public Library invites the public to attend a Caregiver Forum on Tuesday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

This discussion forum will be focused toward individuals caring for an aging parent or who are worried about what they might face as that stage of life approaches.

Learn from experts and share stories and concerns with attorney and Faith in Action executive director Angela Tucker-Cooper and financial planner Marshall Weinberg. They will share some important information in dealing with legal and financial matters.

They will be joined in a panel discussion with other adult children who have recently or are currently caring for aging parents. The discussion will be moderated by Bob Sanderson, retired president of the Massillon WestStark Chamber of Commerce.

Bring questions, advice and stories to share with others or just listen and know you are not alone.

Registration is required and will begin at 8 a.m. on July 11 and close at 11:59 p.m. on July 17. To register for this free program or for more information, call Sherie Brown at 330-832-9831 ext. 314, email brownsh@massillonlibrary.org or visit www.massillonlibrary.org.

The Big Read is a community reading program focused on a single book. This year’s book selection is “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” by Roz Chast.

The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way E., and the Second Street entrance is handicapped accessible.
