The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes will hold a Wayne County Fair-style barbecue chicken drive-thru on June 4 in Shreve.
The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes will hold a Wayne County Fair-style barbecue chicken drive-thru on June 4.
Chicken and meals will be sold from 10:30 a.m. until sold out. The drive-thru will be set up at Shreve Auto Repair, formerly Shreve Mobil Service, 298 N. Market St., Shreve. Enter the drive-thru off of Robinson Street.
Half-chicken dinners include green beans and ham, applesauce, and a roll and butter, and half-chicken only also will be available. The cost is $12 for dinner and $8 for half-chicken only — cash or good check only.
Proceeds will benefit the County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes and its programs and projects.
