Dirty Dog Jog at TWC Oct. 15
Promoting Animal Welfare for the Wayne County Dog Shelter will have a 5k Dirty Dog Jog and mile fun run at The Wilderness Center in Wilmot on Oct. 15.
Promoting Animal Welfare for the Wayne County Dog Shelter will have a 5k Dirty Dog Jog and mile fun run on Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. at The Wilderness Center, 9877 Alabama Ave. SW, Wilmot. The cost is $40 per person.
The Dirty Dog Jog offers a timed 5k and untimed 1-mile fun run.
Participants and their dogs will run alongside each other while maneuvering across 10 muddy obstacles. For those who want a cleaner path or don’t have a dog, there will be options for everyone.
Funds raised will go toward purchasing a new adoption trailer for the Wayne County Dog Shelter and implementing the shelter dogs’ spay and neuter program.
