The Tuscarawas County YMCA will hold its 20th annual YMCA-Jack Marsh Memorial Golf Outing on Sept. 16 at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia.

All profits from the event will benefit the YMCA’s annual campaign, which provides direct financial assistance for membership and programs to local youth and families. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Y’s annual campaign is able to support preschool, summer day camp, after-school care, swim lessons, youth sports, safe spaces and healthy habits for area youth and families in need.

“The YMCA-Jack Marsh Memorial Golf Outing is a great reason to gather a group of friends for fellowship, fun and food while supporting our local community,” according to YMCA executive assistant Jenny Dallas. “Last year we were able to raise over $10,000 for the campaign, thanks to the generosity of our event sponsors and golfers. We hope to exceed that amount this year to help meet the needs of our community.”

During the outing, teams of four will compete in a scramble format with an orange ball game, skins, and prize and game holes throughout the course. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day, culminating with a steak dinner. A video announcing the winners will be posted on the Tuscarawas County YMCA’s Facebook page after the conclusion of the event.

To register your team, become a sponsor, volunteer or for more information about the event, call the Tuscarawas County YMCA at 330-364-5511 or visit www.tuscymca.org.
