The Holmes County District Public Library is holding the following events for the month of September:

Story times at the Central Library will be Fridays at 10 a.m. on Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24. Kids age 2-5 with an adult are invited for stories, activities and songs. Registration is required.

Story times at the East Branch Library will be Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29. Kids age 2-5 with an adult are welcome for stories, songs, crafts and more.

PopUp Program at the Killbuck Park Pavilion will be Thursday, Sept. 9 from 6-7 p.m. The children’s department will provide games and activities at the back pavilion at the Killbuck Park.

Second Saturday Book Sales at the Central Library will be Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drop by the Central Library to shop for children’s books.

Yarntastic Fun at the Central Library will be Thursday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. for age 8-12. Make a crocheted buddy bracelet and learn techniques using yarn. Registration is required.

A book discussion for adults will be at the Central Library on Monday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. and also at 6 p.m. It’s reader’s choice for discussion.

Bigfoot Adventures at the Central Library will be Monday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. Amy Bue is an award-winning Bigfoot investigator, author and co-founder of Project Zoobook. She will present her findings and evidence of Bigfoot. Registration is required.
