Holmes Habitat groundbreaking slated for July 7
Holmes County Habitat for Humanity will hold a ground-breaking ceremony with 2020 partner Arie Hostetler on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 p.m. at 629 Kenton Alley, Millersburg.
Holmes County Habitat for Humanity will hold a ground-breaking ceremony with 2020 partner Arie Hostetler on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 p.m. at 629 Kenton Alley, Millersburg. The public is welcome to attend.
Habitat for Humanity provides a hand up, not a hand out for families who do not qualify for a conventional home loan. The affiliate partners with families in Holmes County to purchase decent and affordable homes and build the homes together. The homes are sold with an interest-free 25- to 30-year mortgage. The mortgage payments received are applied to a revolving fund that provides money for Habitat to purchase land and build additional homes.
