The Kiwanis Club of Dover-New Philadelphia will hold its annual Pancake Day breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Philadelphia Tuscora Park Pavilion.

The breakfast will help raise money for community-service projects and youth scholarships. Ticket prices are $5 for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage and can be purchased in advance from any Kiwanis Club member and at the door on Nov. 2.

A silent auction also will be held to help fund the many community projects the Kiwanis Club supports. In addition the New Philadelphia High School Delphian Chorale will perform during the event.

The Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club, which has been providing community service for nearly 100 years, is part of Kiwanis International. It has a goal of improving local communities through volunteer service.

Specifically Kiwanis has a priority of supporting young children and conducting projects addressing the needs of area youth. The club is always looking for members and meets at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center each Tuesday at noon.

Tuscora Park is located at 161 Tuscora Ave. NW in New Philadelphia.
