Library offers North American bird art program

The focus of the business is to offer note cards and prints of Oliver’s birds to a wider audience.

                        

Dover natives Brian Oliver and Harry Ogletree will discuss art and their newly formed partnership, Olive Tree Enterprises, on Monday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dover Library.

Oliver, a graduate of Kent State University, will show his drawings of North American birds and talk about his artistic process, which involves digitally scanning original colored pencil drawings.

Ogletree will share the story of their friendship and how their business endeavor came to be. The focus of the business is to offer note cards and prints of Oliver’s birds to a wider audience.

On the evening of the program, there will be a drawing for door prizes and note cards and prints at a discounted price. All who attend will receive a coupon for buy one, get one free of their cards and prints at the Warther Museum Gift Shop in Dover.
