The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will hold its fifth annual Fandom Con for teens on June 25 from 1-3 p.m. at JIM’s Place, 228 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia.

Attendees are encouraged to dress like their favorite characters for a chance to win the costume contest and a prize.

“My favorite part about the con is seeing everyone’s cosplay,” public service associate Courtney Wallace said. “I enjoy seeing all the creativity that the teens put into their costumes. Some of the teens start planning their cosplay character outfits a month in advance.”

According to Wallace, teens can celebrate the art of comics through gaming, crafts, button-making and more at this program.

To register for this free program, visit the library’s online registration calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474.
