Letter to the Editor:

As a member of the local veteran community, I am rallying support to elect Adam Wilgus for Juvenile/Probate judge. As a U.S. Army veteran, Adam knows firsthand the significance that discipline and leadership have on the lives of our youth. To further underscore Adam’s leadership, he is a life-long Republican appointed as magistrate by a life-long Democrat judge.

Many times the first contact a juvenile has with the court system is in Juvenile Court. The judge is in a position to alter the child’s life forever. Adam’s experience over the last several years as magistrate has given him the opportunity to both exercise that leadership and influence, as well as to grow and learn, through that process.

Adam’s dedication does not stop at his official duties. Adam can always be found at charity events, as guest speaker at service organizations, and providing a warm smile and sincere thank you at nearly every county event. Serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio also keeps Adam at the forefront of prevention and influence with the most vulnerable in our community.

Based on Adam’s resume, character and flawless integrity, I firmly believe he is the most enlightened choice and the perfect fit for Juvenile/Probate judge. Adam understands the needs of both children and families. He has the temperament, experience and open mind requisite to serve as Juvenile/Probate judge. I ask you to join me in voting for Adam Wilgus.
